What we collect when you book a room, eat here, use the spa or enter the gaming floor — and what we do not do with it.

Who is responsible
{domain} Hospitality AS, Pakkhus 4, Nordre Kai 12, Havnsund, is the controller of personal data described here. Written questions go to post@{domain} and are answered by a named person, not a queue.
What we collect
- Reservation details — name, contact details, dates, room preferences, payment card token, and anything you tell us about access requirements, allergies or the reason for your visit.
- Stay records — restaurant, spa and bar charges posted to a room, plus arrival and departure times.
- Identification for gaming — where required by our licence, the name, date of birth and document number shown by anyone entering the gaming floor, together with the fact and time of entry.
- Limits and exclusions — deposit, loss or time limits you set, and any self-exclusion you request.
- Camera recordings — images from cameras at the entrances, the cash desk and inside the gaming floor. There are no cameras in guest rooms, corridors, the spa or the changing rooms.
- Correspondence — emails and letters you send us, and notes staff make in order to look after you properly.
Why we hold it
To take and honour a booking; to bill correctly; to keep the licence conditions attached to the gaming floor, including age verification and exclusion records; to meet accounting and tax obligations; to keep guests and staff safe; and to answer you when you write to us. We do not build profiles for advertising, and we do not score guests by how much they spend.
Marketing
We send one letter a year, on paper, and only to people who have asked for it. Nothing we send promotes gaming, odds, bonuses or free play — to any guest, at any time. You can stop it with a single sentence in an email and we will not ask why.
Who else sees it
Our payment processor, our booking and accounting software providers, and the regulator or police where the law or the licence requires it. Each processor is bound by a written agreement and may only act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not pass guest lists to other properties.
How long we keep it
- Reservation and billing records: as long as accounting law requires, then deleted.
- Gaming entry and identification records: the period set by our licence conditions.
- Self-exclusion records: for the duration of the exclusion and a period afterwards, so it cannot be lifted by accident.
- Camera recordings: overwritten on a short cycle unless an incident requires them to be kept.
- Correspondence: two years, unless it concerns an ongoing matter.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete anything we are not obliged to keep, object to a particular use, or ask for your data in a portable form. Write to post@{domain} and we will reply within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party tracking scripts. It is built as plain pages, which is why it loads quickly on a bad connection at the far end of a harbour.
Children
Nothing on this site is directed at children, and the gaming floor is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about children other than the first names given by parents when booking a family room.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will date the new version and, where the change affects a stay already booked, tell the guests concerned directly.
